-Revert back the medical facilities as earlier and imposing some health insurance plan to motivate the employees’ dignity.

SNATTA has written to Shri Pravin Kumar Purwar , CMD BSNL regarding to restore the outdoor medical claim facility back to 23 days. SNATTA, opposing the decision of the management, and would like to appeal management to restore the ceiling of the outdoor medical facility from 15 days to 23 days (BASIC+DA) by withdrawing the Corporate Office letter no. BSNL/Admn.I/15-12/18 dated 08.05.2020 and provide the Best Medical Insurance coverage including Covid-19, to motivate and boost up the employees’ dignity at their work and also requested to extend “Family Protection Policy” or Death Insurance Policy as Group Insurance Policy benefit of minimum 50 lakhs to the Non-Executives similarly as It is being implemented for the Executive Cadre in BSNL in terms of GTI. If any employee (JE or non-executive) died while performing his duty during this emergency, his/her family will assured to be protected financially with this. Though it is very less in comparison with the loss of a life.
